Last minute note. This Blog/Store comes set up to produce search engine friendly URL's, using an .htaccess file, through the Wordpress blogging system. It is included with the package. You will need to change the file included because it uses your urls to make it work. There is a sample included in the Install and Set up Files folder. It could not be included in the main package or turned on becuase, as I mentioned, it needs the url's of your domain to make it work correctly. When logged into the Admin area of the blog, click on settings, then click on Permalinks. Once there, click on the "Custom Structure" box and in the box next to it put in /%postname%/ if it is not there already. Then click "Save Changes" again. After that is saved, you will see towards the bottom of the page, the code you will need. Copy the code in the bottom box and paste it over what is already contained in the .htaccess file and upload the file to the main spot you uploaded all your blog files, in the root of your blog. I also wanted to note the fact that it may not work on all hosting services. While it is usually compatable with most every website, it does not always work for all. If when clicking on your blog post links, you reach a 404 error, that is usually the reason, the .htaccess file will not work on your hosting account, or the file is not uploaded. If you can not use the .htaccess file, you can revert the blog back to the default settings that do not require the .htaccess file to work. To change it back to the default, follow these easy steps... When logged into the admin area of your blog: 1. Click the "Settings" link in the the left sidebar menu 2. Click the "Permalinks" link in the left sidebar menu 3. Check the "Default" Radio/Box checkbox 4. Click on the "Save Changes" Button Your done, simple as that :) ----- On This Particular Store, with the theme that is currently set, there is a slightly different method for changing the Google Adsense Ads. To change the ads you will need to go into the wp-content/themes/8799 folder and edit the "sidebar.php" file. You will notice the Adsense code towards the bottom of the file. The easiest way to edit it is to just change the pub-id to your own. ----- As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to let us know. Thank you for your business, it is greatly appreciated!
